Georgina Gratrix is a contemporary artist from South Africa known for her colorful and whimsical paintings. Born in 1982 in Johannesburg, Gratrix studied at the Michaelis School of Fine Art in Cape Town before completing a Masters of Fine Art at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. Gratrix’s paintings have been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world, including the Tate Modern in London and the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa in Cape Town.
