Louis Van Heerden (b1941)

Louis began his career as teacher at Pretoria Boys High School, with the likes of Walter Battiss and Larry Scully. Its such influence that helped his forward thinking develop from a conservative exposure to art thus far. His career blossomed and he would later join the South African Art Association, of which he would later become president. His career has allowed him to immerse himself in the full gentry of South African art elite, whether with artists, gallerists, or historians. He later moved to Bettys Bay where he managed to solidify his style.
