Richard Hamilton was an English artist who is considered one of the pioneers of Pop art. He was born in London in 1922 and died in 2011. Hamilton’s work often incorporated elements of popular culture, such as advertising, comics, and film. He is best known for his collages, such as “Just What Is It That Makes Today’s Homes So Different, So Appealing?” (1956), which is considered one of the first Pop art works.
